Dian Kartika Masniari Sihotang, S.H.
Biography
Dian Kartika Masniari Sihotang, S.H., is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara, with a strong interest in International Law, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and Public Policy. During her studies, she actively developed both academic and leadership competencies through various national and international programs.
As a recipient of the prestigious Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) scholarship, Dian spent a semester at Middle East Technical University, Turkey, where she deepened her understanding of Public Policy, Political Science, and Negotiation. This experience broadened her perspective on international cooperation, cross-cultural communication, and global dynamics.
She also served as Regional Executive of the IISMA Alumni Club in North Sumatera, where she initiated and managed social and educational programs to support youth development within her community. Professionally, Dian has worked as a Liaison Officer for the Quality Assurance Unit of Universitas Sumatera Utara during its international accreditation process. Currently, she is a Lawyer Intern at Kartika & Associates Law Firm and a Competition Mentor for the Business Law Society (BLS) at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Dian is known as ambitious, disciplined, and an eloquent communicator. Her interests also include Human Rights, Diplomacy, International Trade, and International Relations. With a strong passion for learning and a vision to contribute to society, she continues to build her professional career in law and diplomacy.
